Primary research of electronic and computerised measuring techniques within a wide range of manufacturing sectors, from Aerospace to Black Country machine shops.

• End User “Qualitative” research into measuring practises and equipment, for both high volume manufacturing of small machined parts as well as low volume work such as manufacturing aircraft main spars.
• Establishing opportunities for exploitation of newly invented measurement technologies.
• Determination of product design briefs to merge these measuring technologies with PC hardware for use in Statistical Process Control.
